Dalpura Beach is located on the Eastern side of Macleay Island and looks in the direction of Coochie Mudlo Island. It is a beautiful beach with large trees along the shore to shelter from the sun. Here you can put your boat in at the ramp BBQ and swim. Watching the sun go down over the ocean at Dalpura Beach is good for your soul.
Pat’s Park is situated on the North West side of Macleay Island. Here you will find Macleay’s beautifully kept war memorial. The beach is a combination of mineral sands and shell grit with some rock formations. The view is stunning out to Stradbroke Island. Pats Park is a great place to swim at high tide, in the netted swimming area, play on swings, bbq and explore under the cavernous trees by the ocean.
Macleay Island Skate Park
Macleay Island skate park is the perfect place to take your kids for an afternoon of fun and exercise. Reviews of the park state the facilities are impressive, with a quality bowl, serine scenery and outdoor gym equipment to keep you busy.
