Bay Islands Golf Club

Whether a golfer or not, a very warm welcome awaits you at the friendliest golf club in southern Morton Bay Islands. Just visiting and forgotten your clubs? We have everything you need from clubs to cart hire at very reasonable rates. Why rush away when you can relax in the clubhouse where our friendly bar staff are there to serve you a wide range of refreshments or direct you to the bistro for a light lunch or evening meal.

Tingira Boat Club

The Club Rooms are located on the west coast of the Island looking back towards the mainland. Sundays, when the tide is right, are boating days, with the Club owning a number of Vagabonds and canoes, members can be seen enjoying the waters of Moreton Bay. Tingara boat club also provides multiple meal and bar nights, a dragon boating program and hosts a wide range of regular events

Club Macleay - Bowls Club

Club Macleay started modestly in the Island’s Progress Hall in 1968. Thanks to the efforts of its members and assistance from Redland Shire (now City) Council, a clubhouse was built on the north-western foreshore in 1986. It has been extended and improved many times since and throughout has served as the Southern Moreton Bay Islands’ premier dining and entertainment venue with a strong community focus.

MIAC - Macleay Island Arts Complex

Macleay Island Arts Complex is a non for profit organisation focused on bringing art to Macleay Island. Over looking the stunning Moreton Bay, the gallery houses exhibitions and events by a wide range of artists, encouraging a culture of creativity and providing support to those who’s art works fill its premises. MIAC art works are available for purchase as well.

Fishing Spots

Macleay Island is dotted with perfect fishing spots and fisher mans secrets. Some notable locations are the Macleay Island Jetty, where you can fish with a rod or cast a net and always catch something,
